One day, after selling cakes at the train station in order to support their family in a refugee camp, Ismail and his young brother heedlessly enter a minefield. The film is inspired by a day in the life of Palestinian painter Ismail Shammout (1930-2006).
"Ismail" was shown in the framework of The 2nd International Film Festival on Nakba and Return.
