Zochrot organization, together with Mosaic home, organized a study tour of Ramle, in order to tell the history of the place and its inhabitants. The initiative to go on a tour resulted from the racist reaction of Yoel Lavi - Mayor of Ramle - to a request by residents of the city, to name the streets in the Arab neighborhoods, names from Arab history and culture. The tour was stopped violently by the police, which confiscated the street signs in Arabic, but not before arresting three of the participants of the tour.
