Remedy – A Transitional Justice Game
Remedy is a participatory game where the players portray activists in a social change organization in the state of Oceania – land of the woodmen and sailormen – where the latter rule. During the game, the players will complete various projects represented on the Remedy Tree on the board.
The game is won when society has undergone fundamental transformation and become egalitarian and just. This occurs after the final project has been completed – the highest in the canopy of the Remedy Tree.
The game is lost either when a character loses all its Morale Points, suspends her political activity and leaves the organization, or when the War Index reaches its maximal value and a war breaks out in Oceania.
