Zochrot aims to make existing knowledge about the Palestinian Nakba and the right of return accessible to Hebrew-speaking audiences.
In recent years we have held, among others, the courses "Anti-Colonial Voices of Jews in Palestine/Land of Israel," instructed by Dr. Avi-ram Tzoreff, "The Nakba and the Zionist Settler Society,” instructed by Dr. Tom Pessah, “Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons in International Law," instructed by Dr. Munir Nuseibah, and the series "Palestinian Women, History and Memory," with lectures by Dr. Raghda Alnabilsy, Dr. Areen Hawari, Dr. Himmat Zoubi, Dr. Manar Hasan, Dr. Heba Yazbak, Dr. Rawda Morkus-Makhoul, Dr. Rona Sela, Dr. Faiha Abdulhadi, and Dr. Fatma Kassem.
We also lead research groups, such as the Nakba and Health research group (in collaboration with Physicians for Human Rights – Israel), and “Nakba, Ashkenazi and Mizrahi Jews,” coordinated by Tom Mehager.
