The ruins lands of hundreds of Palestinian villages communities are hidden in the JNF's forests and parks around the country. These sites do not mention the names of the destroyed villages or the Palestinian history of these places. In doing so, they are taking an active part in the erasure and denial of the Palestinian existence that began with the Nakba in 1948, and serve as a tool for shaping a false consciousness of the public.

We will expose what the JNF insists to hide. We will visit a number of sites of the JNF, learn the names of the villages hidden within them and place signs containing the relevant information about each village.

The event will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 and will include five parks and forests in the Modiin, Jerusalem and Beit Shemesh areas: Ben Shemen Forest, Rabin Park, British Park, Begin Park and USA Independence Park and .

An organized shuttle service from Tel Aviv will leave the Levinsky Garden for the "Ha Gdoud Ha Evri" street at 10:00, You also can join the bus in the Parking of "Metspei Modiin" entrance, on road no. 443, at 10:30

The tour will continue for a full day, including travel between sites and a lunch break.The day plan and stops will be as following:

* Leaving Tel Aviv at 10:00

1- Additional Meeting point and start of the tour in Mitspe Modiin entrance at 10:30. This part will include an introduction and walking tour in al-Haditha destroyed village in Ben Shemen forest, till 12:00.

2- 12:40 - 13:40: Rabin Park in Mitspe Harel, visiting the Palestinian school of Bayt Jiz.

3- 14:15 - 14:45: British Park near 'Ajjur (We will pass through Beit Shemesh entarnce, road 38, at 14:00)

4- 15:15- 16:00: Begin Park. seeing some the al-Qabuw village ruins.

5- 16:15 - 17:30: USA Park. Driving along the Park on road no. 3866 and finishing with a tour and summary in the destroyed Palestinian village of Dayr Aban near Beit Shemesh (Mahsiya junction).

* Driving back to Mitspe Modiin and Tel Aviv. (Estemated arrival time is 18:30)

Please bring enough water and food for the whole day.

The cost of participation is 50NIS, or according to the participant’s ability.
