Zochrot's Education Department invites you to a unique course in which we will explore the theoretical foundations for understanding the processes undergone by Israeli Jews coping with the Palestinian Nakba and the Return of refugees as part of processes of mental-social-emotional transformation.

During the course, we will read texts that represent a variety of critical approaches and analyze practices of constructive transformative dynamics in the individual, family and community spaces, and in the intersections between the mental/ conscious and social/ political. The course is designed for people involved in consciousness transformation processes: educators, political and social activists, artists, parents, psychologists and others.

The course will be facilitated by Dr. Asaf Kedar, a history professor at Kibbutzim College with a PhD in political science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a student in the biosynthesis (physical psychotherapy) therapist training program at Tel Aviv University's Broshim Campus. Dr. Kedar is also a member of the Zochrot board.

The course (in Hebrew) will include eight sessions, held on Mondays, from July 1, 2013, at the Zochrot lecture room. Participants will be required to pay a token amount.
